I feared my computer was crapping out on me today...
Every time I pressed "W" a window would close. Every time I pressed "N" a new window would open. All sorts of crazy things were going on! I shut down the computer twice. The second time... Windows didn't even load. Yep... computer gone!
Then I noticed that my 1 year old had moved something on my desk, causing it to partially press the Ctrl key. Occasionally activating it's wonderful functions.
The computer is fine... the operator is not.
